With the rapid development of economy, the public pay more attention on the eco-environment problems. Liaoning Province makes a great contribution to many industries, such as iron, steel, metallurgy, shipbuilding. However, Liaoning’s eco-environment quality is not optimistic. The paper aims at establishing the index system of Liaoning and improving a scientific method to evaluate eco-environment quality. It is helpful to clarify Liaoning current state, and the public will not only understand scientific ecological view correctly, but also construct harmonious society.Firstly, the paper introduced AHP, Entropy and AHP-Entropy, and analysed their own superiority in the eco-environment evaluation. Moreover, the index system for integrated assessment of eco-environment quality was established based on natural situation, social economy and environment pollution. The weight of15evaluation factors was determined after data collection.Secondly, use spatial analysis of GIS to evaluate eco-environment quality of Liaoning. The results showed Dalian, Benxi and Dandong had better natural condition, but Fuxin and Chaoyang had worse natural condition; Shenyang, Dalian, Benxi had better social economy and Yingkou, but Liaoyang and Chaoyang had worse social economy; Huludao, Dandong and Jinzhou had better environment pollution condition, but Benxi and Anshan had worse environment pollution condition.Finally, use GIS to evaluate the eco-environment quality of Liaoning Province synthetically during2005and2009. The result showed the eco-environment quality of most cities in Liaoning Province which fell in recent5years, rose firstly, but then fell. The rankings of eco-environment quality in2009were Dandong, Dalian, Shenyang, Benxi, Fushun, Jinzhou, Huludao, Tieling, Liaoyang, Anshan, Yingkou, Fuxin and Chaoyang. The paper put forward suggestions based on the results in the end.
