An experimental study of vibration wall jet was performed for height of jet is1cm and jet velocity of15m/s and Reynolds numbers of10000,8000,5000.The height between the lower edge of the jet and wall was zero. The experimental section included weights that were used to adjust the tension of wall. The focus of this study was to investigate the convective heat transfer coefficient in the developing region of the vibration wall jet. An infrared thermometer was used to measure the wall temperature field; the laser displacement sensors were used to measure the displacement of wall; the hot wire anemometer was used to measure the flow field of jet flow.Experimental results showed that wall vibration will be happen due to flow interaction with wall. The amplitude of wall increase when tension coefficient was decrease, the correlation of the amplitude along the wall with a reference amplitude is very well, the wall vibration frequency increase with the tension coefficient. The experiment was divided into three groups according to tension situation. The results of heat transfer showed that the heat transfer on the vibration wall is decreased with the tension coefficient in region x/Hj<5but increased in region x/Hj>5; The results of flow filed showed that the streamwise velocity increases and the streamwise fluctuating velocity decreases when the wall vibration was strengthened in region x/Hj<5but the region x/Hj>5is opposite. When the height of jet is3cm, the experiment is more accurate in the region x/Hj<5. The results showed that the whole heat transfer increase when tension coefficient was decrease with a new jet even in region x/Hj<5; The results of flow filed showed that the streamwise velocity increases and the streamwise fluctuating velocity decreases when the wall vibration was strengthened in all regions. The heat transfer increase because of the changes of flow field.
