| In recent years, the railway construction is gradually extending to the mountainous and remote areas development, cloud, especially Sichuan and Tibet region. Because these areas has high altitude, high mountains and deep valleys, the terrain is in more complex geological conditions, some areas has a high degree of vegetation cover, severely restricted the analysis of railway engineering geology information model which based on visible and infrared bands of remote sensing image interpretation. Microwave remote sensing,with the characteristic of all-weather, all-time, penetrating the clouds and the feature geometry, physics dielectric properties, surface roughness sensitivity, multi-band^multi-polarization scattering,which specific to the imaging mechanism, is becoming an increasingly important frontier in the remote sensing of earth observation. In geological prospecting, soil moisture dynamic monitoring, floods survey, agriculture, forestry, and land resources survey, finding water in arid area and military information, it’s increasingly showing wide prospect. Microwave,with unique-to-ground detection mechanism, and comprehensive utilization can be supplemented by appropriate optical remote sensing data so that determining structural joints or broken as a view of structural point analysis could be possible, and thus to provide a theoretical study based on geological line selection.Generally speaking, microwave remote sensing has the following characteristics:(l)Microwave has the ability of penetrating through the clouds or fog and working in all-weather condition;(2)Microwave remote sensing has the ability of penetrating certain features’surface; this feature is of great significance in the mineral exploration, groundwater exploration, and surface soil moisture monitoring and underground resource exploration;(3)The wavelength of the microwave is suitable for dynamic observations of the sea; microwave remote sensing can measure seawater temperature and salinity at a certain depth of water.In view of this, this study analyze penetraing depth vegetation cover layer and reflecting vegetation layer below the local geological and geomorphological information, by selecting southwest high vegetation coverage areas, especially in jungle areas, using the good penetrating ability of microwave decimeter (SAR-L-band) wave, and analyze the relationship of structural joints or broken and engineering geology, as the structure point, Comprehensive utilizating and estimating the multiple data sources compound, particularly the effective integration of optical remote sensing, so as to provide some kind of priori knowledge for improving the information detection results of macro-geological conditions. |
