Urban underground pipeline network is the infrastructure of urban survival anddevelopment, bearing the energy supply, information transmission and exchange, etc.With the rapid development of society, to understand the present situation of the urbanunderground pipe network can provide strong decision support for the effectiveplanning, systematic construction and the management of colleges and universities.No matter considering the demands of the public field or market needed field, thetraditional two-dimensional underground pipeline management information systemhas the limitations of space performance, the deficiency of analysis of spatial queryfunction, the poor ability of interactivity, therefore three-dimensional of urbanunderground pipe network is the inevitable trend of network development.CityMaker is the3D GIS platform of this system. Using Visual Studio2008andC++、C#programming languages as development environment to realize automaticnetwork rapid modeling and established geographic features factors database by usingSQL Server2005. In this paper, via analyzing the urban underground pipe network,and referencing the ways of commonly three-dimensional modeling, a3D modelingalgorithm is proposed based on its platform. Using3D data driving modelingtechnology realizes automated build work of pipe network.At first, based on the principles of network modeling and the analysis of networkorganization structure, this paper has simplified the pipe network model. Throughdetermining the pipeline location and generating geometry surface structure whichcan build the pipe model; modeling and calculating the junctions of bend and straightfeature pipe points; importing model to implement the ancillary facilities pipe points,point is like a water well of ancillary facilities tubes, valves, tees etc. And a modelingtheory based on this method is put forward on the basis of the information database ofthe network3D automatic build technology which abandons the traditional manual,semi manual3D underground pipe network model. Using the standardized data processing tool to process multi-source data, for example, taking the shape file formatto detail the standardization of data processing, and has realized the exogenous datastandardization and storage process; Travel through the network data scenariogeneration tools will be standardized platform for data generation large files,eventually in CityMaker Explorer earth control visual display. The problem of3Dmodeling problem of relative lag-3D underground pipeline management informationsystem has changed in the core technology, and realized the big scene and multi-type3D pipe network modeling quickly and automatically. In this paper, carrying on theanalysis of the key technologies in cross section analysis function of the integratedcross section analysis module, the shortest path problem of pipe points in detail in thispaper, and has realized real-time query of pipeline and pipe points of the pipe networkin some attribute information, and can calculate the line distance between arbitrarysection of pipeline, and can set the parameters of the display of attribute informa tionthe pipeline and pipe points. The consequence illustrates the modeling methods haveachieved good modeling effects; it is quick and easy for network query analysisfunction too.
