By discharging the mixture of the I2vapor and He at a suitable high voltage alternating current, transient molecular ion It+and iodine atom in exited state were generated.Rotationally resolved absorption spectra of I2+were recorded in12065-13062cm-1region by employing optical heterodyne velocity modulation absorption spectroscopy. More than4000lines were assigned to24bands in the A2Π3/2.u—X2Π2.g system, spanning4vibrational levels in the lower state and9in the upper state. These lines were globally fitted using least-square fitting and assigned with relatively vibrational quantum numbers and absolute rotational quantum numbers. New rotational constants Bu, were used to derive equilibrium parameters for the first time. The perturbation between A2Π3/2.u and α4Σ1/2was discussed. In addition, the hyperfine structure spectrum of atomic iodine was recorded using optical heterodyne concentration modulation absorption spectroscopy (OH-CMS) in the region of11300-13062cm-1. The magnetic dipole and the electric quadrupole hyperfine structure constants have been extracted for20even levels and33odd levels from more than90hyperfine structures and constants for20levels are new. In this paper, we validated and revised part of the hyperfine structure constants in the previous works.
