Development And Utilization Of Unconventional Oil And Gas Resources In China, Under The Perspective Of Sustainable Development

Abstract: As the transition energy, unconventional oil and gas resources places human’sdemand for green energy resources, while playing an increasingly important role of the energystructure in the world. What is unconventional oil and gas resources? It is the oil and gasresources that regular methods and technical can’t take exploration and development, at thesame time, has different burial, storage conditions with conventional ones. This is a new kindof technology intensive energy industry. We can divide it into unconventional oil resourcesand unconventional gas resources. In which, unconventional oil resources include oil shale,oil sand, heavy oil, native bitumen, and unconventional gas resources include CoalbedMethane (CBM), shale gas, tight sandstone gas, natural gas hydrate (NGH), abiogenetic gas,water-soluble gas and so on. Value all these resources above, some stay on the stage ofexploration experiment, that may have problems, another has gone into operation, while,some problems have been found out in these operations. So, it’s need to discuss all theseproblems.In this article, you will see five parts to translate my ideas. In the1stpart, you will knowthe concept of unconventional oil and gas resources, and some conditions of it all over theworld in round figures. The2ndpart, you will see the details of it in China. In the3rdpart,some theories will be expounded and its relationship with developments and utilizations willbe discussed. Near the last, the4thpart, some countermeasures are surely putted out. At last, the5thpart, we will get some conclusions.After these investigations of all these problems that came out or will be in the progress ofunconventional oil and gas resources’ developments and utilizations, we could realize thecourses. So that we can put forward practical improvement suggestions using SustainableDevelopment Theory. And to promote the development and utilization of unconventional oiland gas resources will improve sustainably, to guarantee the industry chain grow healthily ofunconventional oil and gas resource, to promote the maintenance of the ecologicalenvironment, so that we can construct a resource-saving and environmental-friendly world.
