Because the metal ores are dying out gradually under the ground, our country hastransferred the focus to the concealed ores, especially those which are deeply under theground. The main method to prospect multi-metal ores is typical geophysicalprospecting and chemical prospecting. But there are some limited and disadvantagesnot being avoided in the two typical ways, for instance, typical geophysical prospectingcan identify the appearance of deep geologic body only instead of identifying itsproperties. Similarly, typical chemical prospecting just gets the information from thesuperficial surface of the earth, which means the detecting depth is limited. This paper bases on the item of NSFC(Natural Science Foundation ofChina)”Study of Concealed Geological Body and Cracked Gas Field (item number:41074094)” and the key project “The Technology and Research Of Radioactive Ores inNanling (project number: SinoProbe-03-01-4C)” of “The Detecting Technology andResearch Of the Deep Ground” and researches concealed uranium ores and copper-zincores in GuangDong and GuangXi provinces where are the main experimental areas:(1)The basic properties of ground gas field affected by different concealed metalores:(elements association, statistical, abnormal distribution and so on);(2)The method of identifying the abnormal ground gas field affected by ores;(3)The effective detecting depth of ground gas way;(4)Identifying the abnormal are by radioactive way and portable electrical methodand the fast pattern of detecting ores in identified areas by ground gas way. This paper has achieved2sections which contains103points totally, and thosepoints located in the same line has been measured by X fluorescence, gamma energyspectrometry, alpha measurement and ground gas measurement; after finishing1 section and electrical measurement of49points we can get245measuring points datawith5parameters.In the area of copper-zinc ores, we finished4lines with202points, those pointslocated in the same lines has been measured by X fluorescence and ground gas method, then we also got2828measuring data with14parameters from X fluorescencemeasurement and7878measuring data with39parameters from ground gas method.Based on the real data from the two areas we researched two different properties ofgeophysical and chemical detecting by combining with the conditions of the sites.Considering the relationship of different elements, relativity of elements, abnormalmultivariate statistical character and the property of rare earth element, we researchedthe characters of abnormal situation affected by ores and established the basicprinciples of distinguishing influence from ores to non-ores; we discussed therelationship between abnormal distribution and ores. Based on this, we established themethod of ground gas combined with radioactive measurement and the pattern ofdetecting multi-metal ores. The main achievements of this paper are following:(1)This paper proves that it is workable using ground gas method combined withradioactive measurements to detect concealed uranium ores and multi-metal ores. Themain points of this pattern contains: Firstly, adopting fast X fluorescence measurementon the ground and other radioactive measurements, identifying the abnormal soil andradioactive areas; then using amplitude frequency electrical simulating measurementsof section and understanding the moving trend of the ores under the ground; finally, based on the two steps we chose the workable area to ground gas measure and identifythe condition of deep ore area.(2)It can be distinguished the abnormal conditions affected by ores by using waysof element association of abnormal ground gas, ore elements combination and analysis, and combing with pattern of rare earth element distribution in this paper.(3)Generally, there is no direct relation between typical radioactive measurementand concealed ores, but the location of abnormal ground gas and the location of ores’vertical projection on the ground have the uniformity, which is almost correct indifferent depth of concealed ores.(4)It is the first time to prove that the effective depth can reach800m.
