| Protein is a kind of biological macromolecules of organisms held a special position. It is the basic component of living organisms and also of the important material base of the life activities. Almost all life phenomenons have to go through the structure and function of proteins and reflected. In molecular biology, deeply expounding the structure and function of the protein is the most basic task to explore the mysteries of life. Relative to the protein sequence, protein structure on the biological activity and the influence of the function is more obvious and more directly. But knowing the senior structure and function of protein molecules is far behind the understanding of the sequence. Therefore, to study the structure of the protein is particularly important. In the structure of proteins, the comparison and analysis of secondary structure and the three dimensional space structures is one of the basic and important subjects.This article mainly includes the following two parts:1. About the comparison of secondary protein structure, this paper is using a new2-D graphics to compare the similar degree of protein secondary structures. First, the protein secondary structures are turning into the points on the column. Secondly, the fitted curve is got by the distribution characteristics of the listed points. And using the frequency of alpha helix, beta folded and no rules curly structure is structuring3d vector to describe the attribute of the protein secondary structure. The secondary structures of12proteins such as layd are similarly compared.2. Three-dimensional structure of protein under the cube model division is extracted carbon atoms density for3d structure similarity comparison. We are firstly abstracting protein atomic coordinates of the PDB database, computing center and translating coordinate and being standardized. Then we are using a cube model division to get many parts and calculating the distribution density characteristics of carbon atom of each part. Finally, using the Manhattan distance is to calculate the characteristics of the corresponding value. And thus3d structure of the protein is similarity compared. |
