The objective area is located in the Baiyinxile, Inner Mongolia. The intrusive rocks are granodiorite porphyries, granodiorite, monzonite granite, and muscovitic-orthoclase granites.By analyzing the zircon LA-ICP-MS U-Pb age precisely, their formation time obtained as follows: the granodiorite porphyries intrusion has a whole-rock age of 440±40Ma, the granodiorite intrusion has a whole-rock age of 265±7Ma, the monzonite granite intrusion has a whole-rock age of 251±4Ma, and the muscovitic-orthoclase granites intrusion has a whole-rock age of 254±10Ma. Correspondingly their age are as follows: Upper Silurian, Middle Permian, Late Permian, and Early Triassic.Granodiorite porphyries belong to a series of a calc alkaline group, while the granodiorite, monzonite granite, and muscovitic-orthoclase granites belong to a series of high-K calc-alkaline granites. The granodiorite is the result of the crust mantle interaction. And the syenogranite is strongly peraluminous granite.Based on the research of tectonic evolution, and by doing the petrological, petrochemical, and geochemical study, it is found that there are close causal relations between the intrusions and the tectonic movement of plate in the area. Dimensionally, the granodiorite porphyries are distributed to the north of the iscordogenic fault in Xiaowulanhua-Geshao Mountain where it is the aggradational belt of the northern margin of the North China plate. And the granodiorite, monzonite granite, and muscovitic-orthoclase granites are dis tributed to the south of that fault, where tere is the northern margin of the North China plate. The granodiorite porphyries is I-type granite that is the result of the Caledonian Movement, and the latter three kinds of granite are the result of the collision of the North China plate and Siberian plate.
