Some disadvantages occurred in the production process of semi-flexible coaxial cable. In response to these shortcomings, automatic controlling system based on the vertical tin-plating equipment is developed and parameters of the tin-plating process are optimized and upgraded.Siemens PLC is the center of Automatic controlling system. Temperature control device, solid state relay, thermocouple and heating plate are used to control the temperature of liquid tin. The analog output module, inverter, encoder and the motor are used to achieve tin-speed controlling. The altitude of tin liquid level can be under control through regulator, motor, switches and manual operator. And the tension controlling of cable can be achieved by tension testing devices. The main touch is equipped with screen interface, jog debugging interface, the interface and alarm parameter. Setting window is used to display and set the speed of tin, the length of tin-plated cable and other parameters. Testing interface is used to test the condition of the equipment to prevent unnecessary wasted materials. Linked window aims to control the devices operation under normal operating conditions. Parameter setting interface sets the speed of tin-plating and the temperature of tin. When the temperature exceeds the settled range, the alarm interface window will appear.Semi-flexible coaxial cable of good quality is obtained by adopted vertical tin-plating equipment.
