In recent years, the customers have increasingly demands for the flatness tolerance ofplate with the development of automation in workplace processing. Particularly, afterTMCP technology has been widely used, hot plate leveler with high strength and stiffness,multi-function and advanced automation are required due to the fact that levelingtemperature is lowered and yield strength of materials is increased.With the date of a new-generation 11-roller hot plate leveler imported by a domesticmill, the paper developed analytical model of hot plate leveling process, analyze the hotplate leveling process by FEM analysis software and the elastic deformation of screw-down device and bending roller device. Main content of the paper are introduced below:(1)Based on some reasonable assumed condition, Taking account of different effectson deflection of plate in loading and unloading of leveling process, the paper determinesthe analytical equation of intermesh by taking the sum of curvatures as variable, and usethe known deflection to get the value of the strength of leveling.(2)With the FEM simulation of hot plate leveling process of plate by usingABAQUS/Explicit software, analyze the deformation feature of stress and strain inleveling and after leveling. The effect of intermesh on the plastic deformation alongthickness and longitudinal section of plate was obtained by analyzing the deformation ofdifferent deflection.(3)Based on the FEM simulation of the screw-down deflection device and bendingroller device of Solidworks, we analyze the elastic deformation in order to compensate thedeflection of leveling roller. Though understand the specific operation method of bendingdevice with the Motion module, we make sure of the crown deformation.
