Pini lignum nodi is a kind of traditional chinese medieine,and it is the dry nodule of pinustabulaeformis carr and pinus massoniana lamb of gymnospermous plants.Modern research showsthat pini lignum nodi has many functions,it can diminish inflalnmatory and relieve colds and soon.Studing results also showed that it has anti cancer function.The volatile oil from pini lignum nodiwas analyzed in the paper.The volatile oil was extracted by UAE and the optimum extractionprocess for volatile oil was studied by the simple factor experiment and orthogonal design. Thechemical constituents of volatile oil were identified by gas chromatography-mass spectrometry(GC-MS).The optimal process conditions for the preparation of β-cyclodextrin complex ofturpentine using saturated water solution method was studied by orthogonal experiment design.The optimum extraction process for volatile oil obtained by UAE was as follows: theproportion of material to solvent was1:10, ultrasonic time was15minutes, ultrasonic power was60W, ultrasonic temperature was60℃.The optimum preparation conditions for inclusion using saturated water solution method wereestablished as follows:the ratio of turpentine and β-CD was1:8(ml:g), inclusion time was2.5h,inclusion temperature was60℃.The inclusion efficiency was evaluated by heat stability test,TLC,IR and GC-MS. The resultshowed that a new substance was conformed, The chemical compositions of inclusion turpentinewere not changed before and after reaction.
