δ-lactone is an important perfume and organic intermediate,at present, the synthesicroutes reported in literrature can only get content98%of products, this article design threeroutes to prepare series of δ-lactones base on the synthesis cost of different carbon nuberlactone, the purity was higher than99%.Route A: High purity δ-hexalactone and δ-heptanolide were synthesized from β-ketoester and methyl acrylate by Michael addition, removing ester, catalytic hydrogenation. Theproducts were characterized by IR,1HNMR,and GC-MS, Specific synthetic route and productyield as follows: Route B:High purity δ-octalactone; δ-nonanoiclactone; δ-decalactone; δ-undecalactone;δ-dodecalactone were synthesized from chain aldehydes and cyclopentanone by condeusation,oxidution,reduction, cyclization. The products were characterized by IR,1HNMR, and GC-MS,Specific synthetic route and product yield as follows: Route C: High purity δ-tridecanolactone and δ-tetradecalactone were synthesized fromglutaric anhydride by grignard reaction, reduction and ring–closure reaction.
