Honeycomb plates are usually used the aerospace,train and ship fields due to its good propertiesof light weight, high specific strength and specific stiffness. Metal honeycomb plates can be made ofoutside-boards of thermal protect system (TPS) in the aeronautic and astronautic fields, in resent years,the environment that air vehicle take service is more severe, so the high temperature property of airvehicle should be more excellent. To satisfy the request, nickel high temperature alloy honeycombplates appeared. On the whole, the manufacturing process of the heat-resisting alloy is complexrelatively, so the high temperature honeycomb plates are not mass production and application. To dosome further research on how to manufacture the good properties honeycomb plates, the thesis adoptGH99high temperature alloy manufacture honeycomb plates, research the manufacturing process ofGH99high temperature alloy, and then research its fundamental mechanical properties combiningexperiment and numerical simulation, thus explore how to manufacture high strength heat-resistingalloy honeycomb plates.First, the honeycomb plates’ development history, its development situation of manufacturingmethods and the survey study on its mechanical properties are summarized, thus the manufacturingplan of the GH99high temperature alloy is confirmed: first, adopt the technic of preliminary formwith gear and accurate form processes manufacture the honeycomb core, and then connect the coresusing spot welding craft, finally, connect the plates and core using vacuum braze so obtain the wholehoneycomb plates.Second, measuring the resist compression and bearing bending properties of honeycomb plateswith the plane compression and three-bending experiment, and analyzes the failure mode in the basicof the experiment results, and the compare the plane compression strength and bending strength of theGH99high temperature alloy with other metal honeycomb plates.Finally, establishing the finite element model with the FEA soft ANSYS, and the do thenumerical simulation to the compress and bend loading procedure, and thus obtain the detailedinformation of local area in the stress and deformation, and then compare the simulation results withexperiment results.In conclusion, the article do some creative and practical research to the weld method ofhoneycomb core forming, the brazing between cores and plates and test of mechanical property for honeycomb plates, and finally obtain the high mechanical property honeycomb structure,consequently provide experiment basic for the manufacturing and application research.
