The earthworm treatment sludge technology is a use of earthworms–microbialartificial ecological system of treatment sludge method, which uses the ecologicalfunctions of earthworm, grinding and digesting sludge, to the dunghemangioblastomas form eduction, and through the ecological system of food netspassed to the micro-organisms for further processing, and ultimately achieves sludgereduction and stability, including the mechanism of earthworms to digest andtransform and microbial degradation function transformation. The earthwormtreatment sludge technology with good effect, process equipment is simple, easymaintenance and management, significant environmental benefits, low energyconsumption, costs less and so on.This test uses Eisenia earthworms as a test for direct treatment of urbanwastewater treatment plant dewatering sludge, and study the operating parameterssuch as processing time, soil temperature, the number of earthworms and other factorson the effect of sludge treatment by comparing the parallel tests which with no wormsdosing, and research in earthworms biomass change before and after the test, at thesame time contrast dosing earthworms or not to the influence of the sludge treatment. The results showed that: The processing time is longer, the digestion ofearthworm and the degradation transformation of microorganism to the sludge isbetter, and sludge treatment is better. When processing time is30d, the moisturecontent and the organic matter of sludge reduce most, TN, TP reduce the the mostobvious effect and TK largest increase, to15℃, article50board Group, for example,after30d the water rate from80.13%down to68.00%, organic matter content from52.01%down to43.74%, TN removal efficiency of32.86%, TP removal efficiency of32.72%, TK removal rate of-3.11%.The number of dosing earthworms also effect on the result of the sludgetreatment, more earthworm the activity is more, the digestion of earthworms moresignificant, which is conducive to sludge treatment, but worms will devour microorganisms, so excess of earthworms to a certain extent, inhibit the number ofmicroorganisms, So in individual indexes, the treatment effects of article100group islower than50group instead. To15℃, for example, the50groups put earthworms30d, the water rate from80.13%down to68.00%, organic matter content from52.01%down to43.74%, TN, TP, TK removal rates were32.86%,32.72%and-3.11%; and100group water rate from80.13%to71.22%,52.01%from the organicmatter content to37.03%, TN, TP, TK removal rates were38.25%,41.43%and-2.41%, can be seen in organic matter content, TN, TP treatment effect, the100groupis superior to50group, However, moisture content and TK, the50group is better than100groups.Influence of temperature on earthworm treatment is very clear, earthworms arevery sensitive to temperature, the optimum temperature for survival activities between15-25℃, lower than10℃, earthworms have significantly reduced activity, andhigher than30℃may lead to earthworms dehydration and even death, so the use ofearthworms in the process of sludge treatment, temperature control is critical. In thisstudy, temperature indicators are divided into two phases, the first of August andSeptember, soil temperature during this period remained at about25℃, which is theoptimum temperature for earthworms, earthworm activities ability is at the top, onsludge treatment effect also significantly better, with50groups, for example, afterdosing30d earthworms, the sludge from80.41%moisture content down to69.42%,organic matter content from48.76%down to33.36%, TN, TP, TK removal rates were53.32%,47.06%and-8.74%; the second stage10-November, the soil temperature atabout15℃, which is the temperature of the earthworm active period of the bottomline, earthworm activity decreased significantly, the effect of sludge treatment is farlower than25℃, the same group, for example to50, put earthworms30d, the watercontent of sludge decreased rate of80.13%68.00%,52.01%down from the organicmatter content43.74%, TN, TP, TK removal rates were32.86%,32.72%and-3.11%,You can find all the indicators are lower than25℃.Changes in earthworm biomass is also a very important indicator, it can responddirectly to the earthworms on the ability to adapt to the environment, if a significant attenuation of the biomass, then the worm can not stabilize to treatment sludge, through a two-stage trial found that earthworms can deal directly with urban lifesludge,30d after delivery, the weight and number of earthworms are not a largereduction, the best is25℃,50group, the number of earthworms increased by5, witha total weight of the9.86g up to10.53g, mean weight change was0.022g/d, mainlydue to high temperature, rapid reproductive development earthworms, and the initialnumber of small, competition is more gentle. In this study, Eisenia foetida for the test earthworms, directly treatmentdewatering sludge, study the earthworm biomass and physico-chemical properties ofsludge, nutrient changes, compared with different number, different temperatureconditions, the effect of sludge treatment, and for the earthworm deal directly withsludge dewatering life provide certain basic data.
