| Because of its advantages of fast heating speed, high efficiency, high heating quality,energy saving, easy to realize mechanization and automation and other significantadvantages, induction heating is widely used in modern industrial heating field. As thekey parts and components of mechanical equipment, surface of cam require havingenough hardness and wearing resistance and meanwhile the core is demand to havegood ductility and toughness. Induction hardening, which can meet the requirement, hasbeen widely applied to the cam induction hardening. The traditional induction heatingmechanism and technology can not meet the requirements of heat treatment of cam withthe increasing demands of cam quality from modern high-tech machinery andequipment. Based on this, the thesis devoted to the design of cam induction quenchingmechanism and hope to provide guidance for cam induction quenching by numericallysimulating the induction quenching process.By combining theoretical analysis with numerical simulation on the basis ofsummarizing previous work, the thesis discussed the following contents:â‘ Aimed at the new requirements of cam induction quenching process, on thepremise of analyzing the current cam induction heating mechanism and its presentapplication situation, the cam conjugate induction hardening mechanism,which cankeep constant gap between inductor and cam surface, is proposed based on the specialmotion characteristics of the conjugate cam mechanism.â‘¡By calculating the motion control model of the Cam conjugate Inductionhardening mechanism, the spindle angular velocity formula would be obtained, and thenit can realize that the sensor is moving at constant line speed along the cam profile.â‘¢The cam induction hardening model is simplified reasonably, and cam inductionheating numerical model is established based on the ANSYS software under thecondition of considering the temperature time-varying parameters of relativepermeability, resistivity, specific heat capacity, thermal conductivity etc.â‘£Cam induction heating process in the four kinds which the gap is1,2,3,4mm issimulated for taking the gap as the main research object. And sphere of application ofthe various gap condition are obtained after analyzing the simulation results in detail,which provide guidance for the application of cam conjugate Induction hardeningmechanism. |
