Photosynthetic bacteria (photosynthetic bacteria, PSB for short) is a large group of prokaryote which can uselight as an energy source for photosynthesis.In recent years, photosynthetic bacteria has been widely used inwastewater treatment, energy development, livestock farming, especially has great application value inaquaculture.We isolated one photosynthetic bacteria strains from cultured freshwater environment,be classified wasRhodopseudomonas sp.wps. This paper we investigated the effects of treating object,amount of wps,carbonsource adding and light on the removal of inorganic nitrogen and COD by Rhodopseudomonas sp. Wps,and useDGGE and Real—Time Quantitative PCR to study its Community succession and dynamic changesThe results showed that Rhodopseudomonas sp. Wps can obviously purified the carp farming waste waterquality of carp farming waste water..After8days of treatment,the concentration of NH3-N,NO2-N,NO3-N,COD was61.35%、75.3%、64.67%,64.72%and66.06%、66.97%、71.15%,69.57%。to controlgroup,respectively,When the Final concentration was about106cell/mL and104cell/mL of strain wps.The effect of Rhodopseudomonas sp. wps on the Purifying was affected significantly by treating object,amount of wps,carbon source adding。The NH3-N,NO2-N,NO3-N and COD removing ratio in the carpfarming waste water whose NH3-N concentration was about5mg/l was26.23%,28.57%,6.44%'2.37%higherthan in wastewater whose was about2mg/l;The removing ratio increased with concentration of strain wpsincreased, the removing ratio of NH3-N,NO2-N,NO3-N,COD was55.07%,48.79,46.91%and54.51%whnethe presence of about5×104cell/mL of strain wps; the Purifying effect was improved by the carbon sourceadding, The NH3-N,NO2-N,NO3-N and COD ratio seemed unaffected by the presence of about104cell/mL of strain wps but rised apparently when carbon source was added,21.78%,20.06%,20.51%and22.03%higher than control..The NO2--N removing ratio increased with carbon source increased when the carbon sourceincreased to400μg, the removing ratio reached75.46%. Light had little effect on its treatment of fish waste waterThe DGGE and Real—Time Quantitative PCR results showed that the quantity of Rhodopseudomonassp. wps reached its maximum at the forth day, and can survive at least a week.It has competitionrelstionship with the other Photosynthetic bacteria in the water, the quantity of Rhodopseudomonas sp. wpsdecreased dramatically but the native Photosynthetic bacteria can maintain at a stable level.so strain wpshad a competitive disadvantage over indigenous photosynthetic bacteria.
