The burning energy consumption of traditional silicate cement is large with a highsintering temperature of clinker. Therefore, improving the burnability of clinker is oneof the main way to reduce the energy consumption of cement. This paper discussed theinfluence of external oxides on the burnability of raw material in order to provide thebasis for seeking the material improving the burnability of high calcium raw.The base raw material are made with CaCO3, SiO2, Al2O3, Fe2O3(KH=0.9,SM=2.6, IM=1.6), and added with10oxides in different content, calcined in1250℃,1300℃,1350℃,1400℃and1450℃, study the influence with content of thef-CaOcement clinker. Through experiment to study the influence on activation andthe formation kinetics ofC3S, we can find out the effective element affecting theburnability of clinker and guide the practice. First of all: V2O5, TiO2, MoO3, CuOcalcined at different temperatures and different dosage under the clinker contentanalysis of f-CaO, then the results show that:①V2O5have some effect onburnability, When the content of V2O5is about0.4%, the improving of calciumburnability was better, but the activation and the formation kinetics ofC3S has littleeffect.②TiO2have good effect on burnability, added TiO2can greatly increase theactivation and the formation kinetics ofC3S.③The effect of added MoO3is notobvious, also about the activation and the formation kinetics ofC3S.④CuO hasevidently positive in lower temperature, and with the incorporation of increased firingactivation gradually decreased. The brnability of raw material studied with the external oxides, such as V2O5、TiO2、MoO3、CuO、Co2O3、ZrO2、BaO、La2O3、MnO2、CdO. The results showthat:①The effect was concluded as following: Evidently positive in low temperaturebut no observably positive or negative in high temperature, such as CuO, BaO, Co2O3;No markedly positive in low temperature but evidently positive in high temperature, such as TiO2, ZrO2, CdO, La2O3; No markedly positive both in high or low temperature, such as MoO3, MnO2, V2O5.②Elements of the same or similar impact onburnability, the effect are similar: ⅠB, Ⅷ elements: significant effect at lowtemperatures, but at high temperatures the effect is not obvious.(2) ⅢB, ⅣB elements:little effect at low temperature, obvious effect in high temperature.(3) ⅤB, ⅥB, ⅦB:effect are not obvious at low or high temperature.
