The technology of the sewage treatment and water reuse has developed with theshortage of water resources, compared with the conventional activated sludge process,the hybrid membrane bioreactor (HMBR) has been widely applied thanks to the goodeffects, less area, easy automation and management.Membrane bioreactor filled with carriers coexisting with the activated sludgenamed hybrid membrane bioreactor (HMBR) were investigated for researching ontreatment of campus wastewater. The study shows the main research on the removalefficiency indicators such as nitrogen, phosphorus, organic matter, and chroma, theresults showed that the ammonia nitrogen, COD,TOC and color. HMBR system had ahigh and stable removal efficiency and the effluent can reach the standard back to thewater, TN and TP removal efficiency is not verystable, to be further improved; Theevolution of the activity of activated sludge predicted by specific oxygen utilization rate(SOUR), the results show that through out the trial run period, the SOUR valuesdecreased with the reduction of organic loading rate, but the treatment effect of thesystem was less affectde; During the experimental period, the state of the MLSSgrowing was studied Through longtime monitoring of the changes of trans-membranepressure, the membrane fouling mecharism was discussed and the operational effectson the membrane fouling were studied. The results showed that Biological filter mediain the system had a good effect on membrane fouling. The organic loading rate andammonia nitrogen loading rate had a greater impact on membrane fouling, When theorganic loading rate was low, membrane fouling is more serious.Through the research on the treatment of the campus wastewater by hybridmembrane bioreactor, the removal efficiency were preliminary studied, the operating conditions of the HMBR system were understood, the study also found the strengthsand the areas for improvement in HMBR system. and for the future the HMBR systemperfect, mapplication to the actual sewage treatment provides some reference.
