Compared with granite stone decorative materials,the stone-like coating has thefollowing advantages while they have almost the same decorative texture effect in thecase.①Low cost, the stone-Like coating is just about one quarter price of dry-hang slab.②The construction process is simple;and it can realize personalized aesthetic.③Safety,granite has a big weight which increasing the load-bearing wall, there are many unsafefactors.④Practical, the stone-Like coating can be widely used for the cement wall, theexternal wall insulation system, asbestos and other various base materials. In order toaccommodation with the construction energy conservation the trend of development andthe satisfied secure request, the stone-like coatings should have the performance of highsecurity, rich cosmetic and the excellence performance on the outer wall.In the practical engineering application of the stone-like coating,there are manyproblems like color, white efflorescence, floating cracking, stain resistance differenceand so on. From the research of the stone-like coating composition, function mechanism,preparation method,the topic gets the ratio of binder and aggregate, binder type andcontent, particle size distribution of sand, additive type and content finish selection tothe stone-like coating performance influence. Ultimately we has obtained the bestformula which has tested the overall performance.The test result indicated that in the polymer-based of stone-like coating, Siliconeacrylic emulsion TD661has the best bond strength as binder,the best ratio of binderand aggregate is1:4, and the colored sand gradation is1:3:5:1, the strong decorationstyle of the coating surface, the best admixture of coalescing agent is4%and dispersingagent is0.2%, slip agent uses the cellulose thickeners and ASE60matching in the sandtextured building coating to keep best stability. The anti-foaming agent uses NXE with1340matching in it when the coating does not have the shrink hole, hemp and so onphenomena. Hydrophobic agent uses BS1306thatvolume0.1%, that can be improvedby coating the stain resistance. Coating coveres with silieasol solution which includingslip agen5‰,The solution dilution ratio of1:2, the15%NaOH solution0.4%。Then itcan get the better effect on water,stain resistance and stability.Using the formula,the stone-like coating has excellent comprehensive performance,In those performances, the coating has best anti-cracking initial drying, water resistingproperty, alkaline resistance and drying time is2.5hours, the tensile bonding strength is 0.78MPa, after immersion tensile bond strength is0.59MPa, especially for sexual indexresistant,after three months later, the coating still keep a weather resistance and low cost,simple process, rich decorative styles.
