Sheet forming is a kind of very important manufacturing technology, in the automotive,aerospace, electronic equipment and weapons industry and other manufacturing industries arewidely used. Mold design method based on the traditional is difficult to fully meet the needsof production. In recent years, along with the computer technology and the development offinite element method, numerical simulation of sheet metal drawing process of metal plasticprocessing has become an important issue in the field of home and abroad, and has begunusing computer simulation techniques to guide the design of die. Through the process of sheetforming numerical simulation, a comprehensive understanding of the sheet in deep drawingdeformation process in stress, strain distribution, predict the forming defects, provide designerfor process analysis and die design for the scientific basis, which can improve the mold designlevel, shorten the design cycle, improve product mold production quality.On the basis of theoretical research, numerical simulation and experimental study ofaluminum alloy plate drawing forming process problems encountered. Based on the platesurface forming process modeling and analysis for plate surface, forming the key processparameters ( instantaneous radius flange area R, blank holder force Q, friction coefficientμand plate material through a die fillet region of flexure resistanceσ_w) and its affecting law,for the analysis of numerical simulation and experiments have laid a theoretical foundation.Through the plate drawing forming numerical simulation research on some keytechniques, is determined using the S8R shell element, quasi static analysis technology, thetrue stress - strain the material model and the master-slave contact searching algorithm andpenalty function calculation of contact stress contact treatment technology for thick plateanalysis and comparison of accurate and effective numerical simulation. Through numerical simulation and experiment, obtain plate surface drawing of theprocess parameters on the forming were studied, the relative thickness also affects the platedrawing coefficient of key parameters, but instead of relative thickness of less than 2sheetdrawing coefficient of different influences; medium and thick plate surface drawing, wrinklesdid not happen, rupture is the main defects, the forming of the technology parameters of therequest and sheet metal forming is not the same. As the plate drawing forming process tomake provided academic basis.
