In this paper, we conduct a geological study in Dixi14region and Dixi10region of Kelameili volcanic gas reservoirs. On the basis of comprehensive studiesabout geological gas-reservoir, focusing in geological features of Kelameili volcanicgas reservoir, we established its3D fine reservoir models and then analyze theattribution distribution of porosity, permeability and saturation of gas. After that, wecompare the productivity between straight wells and horizontal wells by using thestatic and dynamic data of gas-reservoir. Combined with the volcanic gas-reservoirmodels about horizontal wells, we revise the well location design. According to theresearch, we conclude that:1. Put forward the adaptation indices and criteria to estimate the evaluation ofhorizontal wells with a view to reservoir type, gas-reservoir depth, net pay thickness, permeability, fracture development, interlayers and so on in totally eight.aspectsresearch, Geological development condition of horizontal wells in gas-reservoir.Meanwhile, we evaluate the design for horizontal wells from their longitudinal andlatitudinal position, well length and so on.2. Tectonic action generates a large number of fractures in the compact volcanicrock. The main structural fractures in the research area are a group of northwest-southeast natural fractures controlled by the Dishuiquan West fault. They are themain migration pathway of deep gases.3. According to the characteristics of gas-fields, we integratedly evaluate thevolcanic rock of Kelameili gas reservoir. Concluding that it is a low-medium porosityand low permeability reservoir through a comprehensive analysis of log interpretation, statistics and model contrast.4. In the seismic profile, the peak represents strong reflection which is marked inred color. Corresponding to log interpretation, it is a large segment of gas. Dixi14region is mainly located in C2b22subzone, so horizontal well should be positionedon the top of the subzone where the fractures are abundant and far away from theGWC.5. We use seismic, well logging, productive data and modelling software tobuild Dixi10region reservoir geological model by Petrel, and based on thecomparation with rock analysis in Dixi14region, the new well design plan for Dixi 10region have been proposed.
