Oil sand is a kind of unconventional petroleum resources and the world’s oil sandresources approximately4000×108t. However, Oil sand developing process will bringseriously environmental pollution. We must attach great importance to the tailings ofoil sand pollution waste water pollution and waste air pollution. The most seriousenvironment problem is how to deal with tailings of oil in mining process. Thetailings containing a certain amount of oil and it will pollute soil, water and airseriously if the oil is not handled properly. Therefore, exploring a kind of economicand efficient removing of tailings of oil methods will greatly reduce the pollution ofthe environment and give benefits to people is very necessary.Surface active agent not only can prevent the oil-water repel each other but alsocan be adsorbed on the oil-water interface and display a unique interface activity evenin the lower concentration conditions, it can change the interface of materialsignificantly. Ultrasonic wave is a new type of equipment which mainly usingvibration effect and heat effect not only reduces the amount of surfactant but alsoimprove the oil displacement efficiency.Nonionic surfactant Tween-80as the experiment of oil displacement surfactantfrom the anionic surfactant, nonionic surfactant, composing surfactant selected in thispaper and optimize the temperature, stirring speed, pH, surfactant dosage, ratio ofsolid to liquid and experimental conditions. Surface active agent in the optimalcondition: Solution pH7, reaction temperature25°C, stirring speed is120r/min,solid-liquid ratio of1:1, Tween-80solution volume fraction is0.20%, oscillation timeis2h, which removing effect is the best is90%under this conditions. In addition, studying on ultrasonic intensity, ultrasonic frequency, ultrasonic time, ultrasonic temperature, solid-liquid ratio and other factors to the removing oil in orderto determine the optimal conditions for ultrasonic: Solid liquid ratio is1:1, reactiontemperature25°C, ultrasonic frequency is40kHz, ultrasonic intensity is0.397w/cm2,ultrasound time is15min, the ultrasonic displacement rate reached60%under the optimal conditions.Surface active agent and ultrasonic treatment with the combination is moreadvantageous than using the single method to the removing of oil and thedisplacement rate reached98%. This method is economical, efficient and safe whichtreatment of wastewater can be directly gotton into the city sewage treatment plant, itgreatly reduces problem of environmental pollution and give benefits to the miningarea people.
