In the modern, manufacturing welding plays a very important role, welding is widely used in the industrial which is requirement in sealed joint manufacturing, like in aerospace, aviation, household appliances and transportation, and so on. In a sense, quality of the welded joints reflects the manufacturing quality, directly affecting the dependability and security of the structure. Therefore it needs a good corrosion resistance and sealing properties.Currently, for internal quality check of the weld, the application of ultrasonic inspection is often used. Because of the inspection records completed by testing staff cannot leave more objective and original testing vouchers, especially when a welded construction quality accident occurs, ultrasonic test results cannot play a proper role for the cause of the accident analysis. The results of ultrasonic inspection is not intuitive, unable to accurately determine the nature of weld defects, like quantity, size, shape, location and so on, it cannot provides a clear basis for confirming and repairing the welding defect. Ultrasonic inspection needs the operation staff has highly technology and quality requirement on operation.This topic analyses on application of AutoCAD technology effectively to solve the false defect in ultrasonic flaw detection which will result of misjudgment and forget to judgment. By secondary development of AutoCAD, application of the man-machine dialogue function, according to steel structure design parameters, combine with the actual welding structure and size, draw the dynamic scanning process of ultrasonic welding section, simultaneously, emulate the inspection process of ultrasonic weld.The technology may reflect the position of true and bogus flaw echoes accurately and quantitatively, improve the accuracy of ultrasonic examination in welded seam.
