The large diameter of axisymmetric components is wide application, and play animportant role in the key part of some major equipment. Outside diameter as one of the mainparameters of axisymmetric components, affects the normal work of the components, so itneeds to be measured accurately, existing large-size axisymmetric components outer diametermeasurement accuracy of the measuring equipment will decrease with the increase of themeasuring the size, and there are some shortcomings such as low efficiency, repetitivemeasure measurement difference, cost higher.For the outside measurement of the large-size axisymmetric workpiece, this paperproposes a method of outside measurement measuring based on rotating mirror scanning, useconversion ideas, transformed the diameter measurement into the slit measurement betweenthe goals and the standard gauges. using a rotating mirror, the reflected light direction, notmoving the camera case expands the camera measurement area,application of machine visiontechnology,high resolution line scan cameras to take pictures of the slit, photographs taken thenecessary processing by the image measurement technology.This acticle first elaboration onthe rotating mirror scanning principle and the principle of the conversion between the slit sizeand the measured object diameter size,study overall compositon and the choice of the majorhardware;Secondly,the use of inside and outside the parameters improved separation of thetwo-step calibration method,the method is suitable for linear array camera imaging systemcalibration,convenient and high precision;Then,study the size of the image measurementtechniques,asked the based on the weight of the median and mean hybrid filtering method anda large number of pseudo-edge of the image edge detection method,the proposed algorithmwas validated;Finally,experiments show that the proposed method can be high-precision measurements of large-size axisymmetric workpiece,and the experimental results wereanalyzed.
