The article made the study of the sulfur components in cyclopentane bymeans of three desulfurization methods: extraction, absorption and oxidativeextraction. The experimental results indicated:(1) optimum extractiondesulfurization condition:5mL cyclopentane,5%NaOH solution, ratio ofdesulfurizer to oil1:1, at the temperature of15℃, after10mins of mixing andextraction, the content of sulfur components in cyclopentane drop down to1.30mg/kg.(2) Optimum absorption desulfurization condition:5mLcyclopentane, granular active carbon0.5g,absorption temperature40℃,mixing duration20min, sulfur component in cyclopentane drop down as low as0.82mg/kg.(3)results of the oxidative extraction desulfurization:①Optimumdesulfurization condition with hydrogen peroxide to be the oxidant.:0.5mLhydrogen peroxide,0.009g catalyst of tungstenic acid,0.8mL co catalyst ofmethanol, at the temperature of50℃,100min duration,10mL cyclopentane, distilled water as extractant, ratio of extractant to oil2:1, standing time15min,after first extraction desulfurization, the sulfur components drop down to0.5mg/kg.②Optimum desulfurization condition with per acetic acid to be theoxidant.:0.5mL per acetic acid,at the temperature of30℃,80min duration,15mL cyclopentane,0.625%NaOH solution as extractant, ratio of extractant tooil2:1, standing time15min, after first extraction desulfurization, the sulfurcomponents drop down to3.42mg/kg,the condition is unfit.
