PbO2electrode has the price low, high conductivity, good chemical stability incorrosive media, high current and good electrocatalytic activity, in order to furtherimprove the PbO2electrode performance, broaden its applications, Through theelectrochemical anodic deposition method, co-deposition and composite co-depositionmethod,Preparation of the doped metal ions (Co2+ and Fe2+) and metal oxide particles(nano-Co3O4and nano-WO3) preparation of PbO2composite electrodes, thecomposite electrode materials of the composition, structure, morphology andelectrochemical performance were studied,mainly to explore and discuss the differentdeposition method of the composite electrode influence and regularity.(1) The use of electrochemical composite co-deposition prepared byPbO2+Nano-Co3O4composite electrode materials. With the addition of Co3O4nanoparticles, the PbO2electrode surface morphology has undergone a huge changefrom the larger grain size of the massive accumulation of the structure to a grain sizesmaller cluster of the accumulation of the structure gradient, the particle size isreduced to a few microns tens of nanometers. Composites electrode showed highelectrocatalytic activity, and electric catalytic activity as strong as Co3O4contentincrease, while PbO2+Nano-Co3O4composite electrode has a goofpseudo-capacitance performance, its capacity up to217the F/g. (2) Electrochemical co-deposition prepared PbO2-CoOxcomposite electrodematerials. Deposition potential is1.55V, the composite coating surface appearsirregular porous structure. PbO2-CoOx composite electrode showed highelectro-catalytic activity, and, with the composite electrode CoOx content increased,its electro-catalytic activity will be strong. PbO2-CoOxcomposite electrode also has agood performance of the pseudo-capacitance, with the composite coating content inCoOx in to increase, its capacity up to137F/g.(3) Through the comparing the electrochemical composites co-deposition andco-deposition, the deposition process and the physical and chemical nature ofPbO2+Nano-Co3O4composite electrode and PbO2-CoOX composite electrodedifferences, found that the co-deposition composite electrode prepared by the Coatomic percentage content higher, which would greatly enhance their electrochemicalactivity, but its surface grain relatively greater, the surface area to be far less thanthe composite co-deposition prepared by composite electrode material, moderate poresize and pore size distribution can improve the use of specific surface area rate,therefore relatively low content of cobalt oxide PbO2+Nano-Co3O4compositeselectrode but has a more excellent electro-catalytic activity and performance ofcapacitors.(4) Electrochemical composites co-deposition prepared by PbO2+Nano-WO3composite electrode materials, with the addition of Nano-WO3particles, themorphology of the electrode surface is changing dramatically, from the relativelysmooth and dense surface morphology into loose, three-dimensional surface.Electrochemical co-deposition prepared by PbO2-FeOxcomposite electrode materials,the composite coating is mainly composed of β-PbO2and simple hexagonal typeFeOx, PbO2-FeOxcomposite electrode in cyclic voltammetry process of PbO2ofdissolved less stable, phenol in the process of cyclic voltammetry characteristics ofadsorption.
