Sludge fuel, widely used, a kind of method of sludge treatment and disposal, which have efficient reduced and stable results.It can not only resolve the sludge way out effectively, and which, to a certain extent,can solve the problem of energy in the energy shortage society. So the sludge fuel is regarded as the best method of sludge treatment way out. This experiment, take the advantages of local special resource and lying on the local characteristics of TaiYuan in ShanXi local characteristics, research the structure and properties of the sludge that from the sewage treatment plant in TaiYuan. The article analyzes that, combining some related research in previous, the surplus sludge can be compounded into a kind of sludge drying of synthetic fuels with the conditions of low cost and low energy consumption. We have made some preliminary research about the nature of the sludge, the agent’s composition of medicament and the properties of all kinds of synthetic fuels. And we have made some related some conclusions in this process:1. The internal structure and patterns of sludge particles can be changed by the way of stirring, the drying speed, from physical angle,can be increased under the natural conditions by this method. Contrast with the same proportion of the mixed fuel, the drying time is reduced more than1hour by the pretreatment of stirring.2. This experiment mainly researches the drying medicament’s composition and ratio combining previous research. The drying medicament can play the roles include that:a. the sludge dewatering properties and sludge particles charged sex can be changed. The binding power, between the sludge particles and water, be reduced obviously; b. the component of drying medicament can absorb moisture of the sludge and the water be vaporized also by the heat that generated from this drying medicament; c. Some composition of drying medicament can improve the flammability of sludge and it also enhances the combustion efficiency of sludge.3. The burning effect and proportion about coal, sludge, drying medicament and other additives has been studied. It was found that the calorific value of the mixed fuel can be up to12762kJ/kg the sludge, which is the highest value, when the ratio of sludge, coal, drying medicament is59%,36%,5%. This calorific value can meet with the requirement of coal power plant, and the contribution of sludge to the calorific value, which is5505kJ/kg, is the highest. The final estimation of the cost of Sludge fuel is less than300Yuan;4.Analyzed the combustion characteristics of the coal and sewage sludge burning process with some experimental data. The sludge and coal are complemented each other in the burning process. Both of the reducing of the temperature of the fuel’s ignition and the improvement of the combustion of fuel’s are owing to the sewage sludge. In contrast, coal can guarantee the persistent of burning, promote the burning of sludge in this process of coal can, and it is facilitated into the calorific value of sewage sludge.5. It has been summarized a set of sludge drying, curing, fuel in one treatment technology, according to the research of the nature of sludge and drying medicament, and designed the technology treatment process production facilities, and workshop layout. And the working parameters of the relevant process was ascertained, which can provide some reference for some relevant of treatment sludge fuel. This process, simple and practical, has widely applicability. In addition, the sludge has become a kind of half drying fuel after the process of the consumption with lower energy. The characteristics of half dry fuel provided the necessary security space for the sludge fuel. The half dry synthetic sludge fuel has very strong environmental benefits, economic benefit and social benefit.
