Thanks to the continuous dedication of mining experts, the theory for the rock control of mining height face has improved in a fast way, mining technology with mining height has become one of the most important method for coal mining. However, presently, the research objects and the technical practice targets of this theory are always workface with hard coal seam and good surrounding rock situation. Such as in mining areas like Shendong, Xuzhou, Datong etc. the high mining height theory is carried out efficiently, because the coal seam of these areas are hard, roofs are also stable, and Two props shield-type stents are adopted. While, the theory for rock control of mining height face in soft seam is not Inadequate.In practical, it has been found that with a soft coal seam, Zhaozhuang mining has a complicated geological structure, the face top floor is badly distorted, and stability of support-rock is poor, which threatens the safety of workers working underground. Hence, it’ll be of great importance both practically and theoretically, because it can not only be a guide of coal mining but also enrich the high mining height theory by systematically conducting a research on high mining height rock control technology of soft coal seam.Take the high mining height of1306loose coal seam of Zhaozhuang mining as the research object, and through field testing, numerical simulation analysis, theoretical analysis etc. this essay have a Preliminary Research on high mining height working face of1306soft coal seam about subjects like:roof structure, movement law, working face mining pressure expression law, roadway stability and rib fall of coal wall. And some of the fruit of this research has been put into practice,,making the high mining height working face of1306soft coal seam get stopping safe and sound.The main achievements of this research are as below:(1)Based on the theory of "Bond-beam", it reveals the structure of overlying strata and movement law on high mining height of1306loose coal seam, and classifies the working face roof. And by taking numerical simulation method, it analyzes the damages on roof strata, proving the validity of the analysis and calculation on theory "Bond-beam".(2)Through field testing, it reveals the mining pressure expression law of high mining height of1306loose coal seam, and it also studies on the adaptability of hydraulic support.(3)Through field testing, theoretical analysis and numerical simulation, this essay studies on the stability of stopping roadway of high mining height working face of1306loose coal seam(4)Taking theoretical study, field testing and numerical simulation as means, it analyzes the Setting method of reasonable size of coal pillars for roadway, and gives the reasonable size of pillars of roadway.This essay conducts a preliminary study on surrounding rock control on high mining height working face of loose coal seam, it’s to some extents, great helpful on solving rock control problems, bringing a further perfect on high mining height theory, it’s, at the same time, also instructive when it comes to mine other similar coal seam.
