Aluminum is a very important metal material in modern social production. At present, compared with the western developed countries Chinese aluminum production capacity is relatively large, but there is still a certain gap in energy consumption.Now, a large amount of original data of aluminum electrolytic production has been selected by computer. The Production rules in these data of aluminum electrolytic production is very important to improve efficiency, energy saving and emission reduction in aluminum electrolytic production. Data mining is a kind of technology which get the potential law and knowledge from lots of data. So, we can apply data mining technology to aluminum electrolysis production data, then obtaining the aluminum electrolysis related information, to guide the practical production.Feature extraction is an important and cutting-edge technique in the field of data mining.There have been a lot of research in the domestic and abroad. Based on those research,this paper analyze all the aluminum electrobath parameters, and then presents a new clustering algorithm based on aluminum volume, make the electrobath into three clusters.Finally, proposed one kind of feature extraction algorithm based on the clustering algorithm, extract the feature of every electrobath.Firstly, this paper describes the aluminum electrolysis cell clustering algorithm in detail, and use the actual production data of the electrolytic plants to verificate that the algorithm, the electrolytic plants are classified into three types and the distribution and the original data are basically consistent.Secondly, based on the clustering algorithm, presents a feature extraction algorithm after studying the basic concept and current research situation in the domestic and abroad, takes a simple experiment with the aluminium electrolytic tank data.Finally, on the basis of the above research, design and develop a simple for aluminium electrobath parameters data analysis system which can be used for aluminium electrolysis production decision as a simple decision support tools.
