Nowadays, the developing of society becomes more and more rapidly, and the transportation industry, pipeline drag reduction also plays an important role in economic development, therefore, the surface drag reduction, self-cleaning function attract people’s attention. This paper is based on the mechanism of bionic nonsmooth surface drag reduction and makes organic-inorganic hybrid self-assembly super-hydrophobic coating, and then tests the anti-drag property.The preparation techniques of super-hydrophobic surface generally require special materials or expensive processing equipments, this isn’t conductive to the preparation of large area super-hydrophobic surface. In this paper, the needed materials are low-cost,the process is simple, these are beneficial to industrial production. Kaolin as raw material is intercalated by means of ultrasonic oscillation, this paper considers four factors together in the experiment by means of orthogonal method and optimizes the best factor combination:ultrasonic oscillation1h, ultrasonic temperature50℃, the volume of DMSO25ml, drying temperature70℃.Nano-kaolin,micron powder (1250mesh calcined kaolin), curing agent and so on are added to epoxy polyurethane interpenetrating Polymer Network. The assembly liquid is sprayed onto the substrate, and dried at a certain temperature, then the superhudrophobic coating is prepared. In the experiment, the content of each component in the assembly solution is changed, the hydrophobic effect of the coating is observed and the distribution ratio of each group is optimized so that the hydrophobic effect of coating reaches the best.The paper contrast several drag reduction test methods, finally uses flow resistance test platform based on differential pressure drag reduction test principle to test the anti-drag effect. In order to prevent cumulative error, a pressure sensor and a differential pressure transmitter are used to detect the pressure of inlet and pressure difference of test pipe, then get the data utilizing supporting data acquisition software. Using the flow resistance test platform to detect the anti-drag property of several commonly used anti-drag coatings, the results show that the drag reduction effect of self-assembly super-hydrophobic coating is superior to the other two coatings, and then analyses the respective reduction resistance mechanism.
