Non-benzeniod aromatic hydrocarbon is an important part of organic chemistry, the azulenechemistry which has a more significant part of non-benzeniod aromatic hydrocarbon shows avariety of biological activity and have a prosperous future for application in the field of medicine,chemical industry, cosmetics and etc.Thereforeļ¼Œthe synthetical methods has become a noticeableissue.Firstly, this paper describe that1-cyanoacetylguaiazulene (2) was synthesized for the firsttime which was prepared by the method of using guaiazulene (1) as raw materials. And the newguaiazulene derivatives replaced with cyanocinnamiyl, coumarin and quinoline (6a-6l,7a-7g,8a-8b) were synthesized by condensation reaction with1-cyanoacetyl guaiazulene (2) andaromatic aldehyde by the manner of one-pot reaction.Secondly, the guaiazulene derivatives replaced with furan (10a-10j) were synthesizedwhich were prepared from1-cyanocinnamiylguaiazulene and acylchloride compound bycyclization reaction.Finally, the one-pot three-component synthesis of guaiazulene derivatives replaced with4H-pyran (12a-12k) by the condensation of1-cyanoacetyl guaiazulene, aldehydes, andmalononitrile in the presence of ammonium acetate has been described.All the compounds were fully characterized by elemental analysis, IR, MS,1H NMR spectraldata.
