Adhesion is the interatomic and intermolecular interaction at theinterface of two surfaces, which is one forms of molecular force.Because the UV-curable coating has poor adhesion in some substrates, itis often need treat the surface of substrares in order to obtain goodadhesion. Therefore, it is an important research direction that synthetieshigh adhesion resins in the UV-curable oligomer. In this paper, two kinds of different functionality polyurethaneacrylates were synthetied. The bifunctionality polyurethane acrylateswere synthesized by diisocyanates(IPDI, HDI, TDI), hydroxyethylacrylate and hydrogenated rosin, which corresponding named IHPUA,HHPUA, THPUA; The polyfunctionality polyurethane acrylates weresynthesized by diisocyanates(IPDI, HDI), pentaerythritol triacrylate andhydrogenated rosin, which corresponding named IPPUA, HPPUA. Theeffect of different concentrations of photoinitiator on conversion of these PUA,and their volume shrinkage in the UV curing, the solventresistance, storage modulus, glass transition temperature and adhesion inthe glass, PET, PC and PVC substrates were also studied. The results indicated that the synthesised PUA had the biggestpolymerization rate with the3wt%photoinitiator1173. Thesynthesised PUA including IHPUA、HHPUA、THPUA、IPPUA、HPPUAhad very small volume shrinkage in the UV curing, which were2.08%,2.14%,1.88%,7.22%,8.63%; The synthesised PUA had very goodadhesion in the glass, PET, PC and PVC substrates and their cured filmshad good solvent resistance.
