Surface-enhanced Raman Scattering (SERS) spectroscopy has become a widely used tool for explorations of molecular interaction and interfacial properties and for characterizations of adsorption behaviors and molecular structure。A lack of SERS substrate generally limits the breadth of practical applications for SERS in various materials, especially in semiconductor materials, widely used in catalysis, electrochemistry and other industries。 Furthermore, the nature of the enhancement mechanism of semiconductors-based SERS substrate is still ambiguous。Therefore, SERS studies on semiconductors are still necessary for the application of SERS on non-metallic surfaces。This undertaking not only develops novel SERS-active substrates, but also broadens the applicability of Raman spectroscopy。In this work, ZrO2nanoparticles semiconductor-based SERS application study were mostly investigated, Its main investigation contents are summarized as follows:1、Co-precipitation method preparation of ZrO2nanoparticles and its application study of SERSThe nano-zirconia with different size particles prepared by co-precipitation, The preparaed nanoparticles of different sizes were characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), Raman spectra, characterization results show:with calcinations different temperature will increase in the size of ZrO2nanoparticles。And studied the Raman effect of different size ZrO2to the corresponding adsorbed molecules。Meanwhile,4-mercapto acid as probe molecules in different sizes for the base zirconia nanoparticles studied4-benzoic acid thiol surface-enhanced Raman spectroscopy (SERS)。Raman spectroscopy reveals that:zirconia nanoparticles enhanced in the20nm best around。2、Hydrothermal method preparation of ZrO2nanoparticles and its application study of SERS The nano-zirconia with different sizes particles prepared by hydrothermal, The preparaed nanoparticles of different sizes were characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), Raman spectra and Scanning electron microscopy(SEM), characterization results show:different dispersant can be prepared different size of ZrO2nanoparticles. The different sizes of ZrO2nanoparticles were modified by the different probe molecules for surface-enhanced Raman scattering study, The results show that:the SERS of4-MBA on ZrO2nanoparticles exhibits the best enhancement prepared with diethanolamine as organic additives。3、Doped with Co, Ni Preparation of ZrO2Nanoparticles and its application study of SERSTo further investigate the enhancement of ZrO2as the SERS substrate, Ni and Co doped ZrO2NPs with various content of Ni or Co were prepared and employed as SERS-active substrates。The results show that SERS performances of ZrO2NPs can be significantly improved by doping with an appropriate amount of Ni。The SERS of4-MBA adsorbed on Ni-ZrO2was a significantly enhanced, as compared with the pure ZrO2substrate。The improved performances of SERS-active ZrO2NPs can be attributed to the introduction of Ni dopant, they can enrich the surface states (defects) of ZrO2, which are favorable to the SERS enhancement of adsorbed molecules。...
