In this paper, the preparation and property of inorganic-organic polymeric hybrid flocculantwere studied, and the optimal conditions of preparing inorganic-organic polymeric hybridflocculant were screened by orthogonal experiment. In addition, coking wastewater regenerationtreatment was also investigated in the condition of synergistic effect of surfactant. A kind ofsurfactant with better synergistic effect was obtained, meanwhile whose synergistic mechanismwas preliminary studies. The research shows that:(1) By using the orthogonal experimental design, the optimum conditions of preparingpolymeric hybrid flocculant were: mass ratio100, basicity1.5, inorganic polymeric flocculantPAFC and organic polymeric flocculant CPAM, and a novel polymeric hybrid flocculantHAFPAM was obtained. The removals of CODCr, chroma and turbidity were52.17%,75%and82.3%, respectively, when the dose of flocculant was360mg·L–1. Contrast experiment showedthat the performance of HAFPAM for CODCrremoval was significantly higher than AlCl3andCPAM. The CODCrremoval increases to52.17%from30.43%for HAFPAM, however, theCODCrremoval for CPAM just increases to40.91%from36.36%when flocculant dosingquantity increases from1.4mL to1.8mL. Settling tests show that sludge sedimentation velocityof HAFPAM increased by16%and the sludge volume is reduced by5%.(2) FTIR analysis showed the peak shape change of HAFPAM ranging from1600to1700cm-1, indicating the complexity of binding hydroxide and molecular structure of water inpolymer; Raman showed the weak adsorption in1612cm-1which was adsorption peak ofsymmetrical C=C; Elemental analysis showed the concentration changes of C、N、S, suggestingthe existence of chemical reaction between PAFC and CPAM.(3) Flocculation synergistic agent OTAB was screened out by comparing the cokingwastewater regeneration effect of PAFC combining surfactants with different charge and chainlength. Results also show that synergistic effect of cationic surfactant was superior to other typesand the longer the chain length, the better the efficiency of CODCrand chromaticity removals.(4) Compared with the effect of using HAFPAM independently, CODCrand chromaremovals increased from52.17%and75%to59.09%and87.5%, respectively, when the dose ofOTAB was50mg/L. In addition, the chroma removal was90.63%when the dose of OTAB was70mg/L. When pH=11, the CODCrand chroma removals of HAFPAM+OTAB could reachmaximum54.55%and91.25%, respectively. SEM analysises suggested that addition of OTABcould increase the size of floc and make the distribution of particles more close-grained. Linearfitting with Freundlich and Langmuir for the adsorption of OTAB on kaolin surface suggestsOTAB is monolayer adsorption and fits Langmuir curve better.(5) The CODCrof wastewater decreased from200mg/L to72mg/L and the chroma dropped to70°from800°in the best flocculation conditions. The effulent can meet the qualitystandard of reclaimed water if the raw coking wastewater could achieve national effluentstandards.
