Ultrasonic vibration internal grinding is one of the precision machining technologies, whichis used in the areas of the holes grinding of the ultrasonic machining technology. With theunique grinding mechanism and the superior process effect, the wide attention is attracted onthe ultrasonic vibration internal grinding. The ultrasonic vibration internal grinding system isthe core of the ultrasonic vibration internal grinding technology; therefore, the more attentionis also attracted on the system study. The study of the system is still not perfect at home andabroad, especially for some key technologies of the system and technical problems. In thisthesis, these key techniques have been researched as following:1. Based on the ultrasonic vibration internal grinding mechanism, a new type of ultrasonicvibration internal grinding system is proposed which can apply in ultrasonic high-speedinternal grinding.2. According to the vibration theory model, a ultrasonic vibration subsystem design schemefor ultrasonic vibration internal grinding was proposed; based on the design theory ofultrasonic transducer and ultrasonic horn, the vibration subsystem is optimized design by theANSYS finite element modal analysis. Through the comparison calculated the optimaltransition arc and the node location of horn are determined, the change rules are found by theFEA, the horn structure and the flanges position are optimized.3. The matching connection of ultrasonic transducer and ultrasonic horn is studied, theultrasonic vibration subsystem is verified by FEA analyzing, and the prototype is developed.From the admittance near the resonance frequency of the ultrasonic vibration internal grindingsubsystem, the impedance characteristics and frequency characteristics have been analyzed bythe impedance analyzer; the vibration characteristics have been analyzed by the ultrasonicsignal generator and the power amplifier, which can verify the accuracy of natural frequencies.The test results showed that these parameters meet the design specifications.4. In order to reduce the inertia of ultrasonic spindle and improve the spindle speed, a newtype of rotary non-contact electrical power transmission equipment is proposed and theultrasound spindle component is optimized which can solve the problems of electrical powertransmission in the ultrasonic vibration internal grinding system.5. The experiments of ultrasonic vibration internal grinding system prototype is studied, theimpedance characteristics, vibration characteristics and frequency characteristic are tested, thechange rules of the related characteristics are discovered, the performance of the ultrasonicvibration internal grinding system is inspection, which laid a foundation for the developmentof the system in practical application.
