In this study, riboflavin spectrometric properties and electrochemical properties have been investigated using Uv-vis spectrometric and fluorometri as well as cyclic voltametric methods. Fluorometric queching of riboflavin in the presence of Na2S2O4have also been studied using sepctrometric and electrochemical determination. Selective quantitative analytical methods heve been established according to the selective fluorometric queching of riboflavin by Na2S2O4. Using this method, Rboflavin contents in some food and plants have been succesfully determined. This study give usful information for the fluorometric properties of riboflavin and for the riboflavin contents in some plants and foods.Chapter1:PrefaceThis paper proposed the purpose and significance of thesis, introduced the function of riboflavin and methods of detection.
