So far, low efficiency and poor quality surface of traditional mechanical polishing has been the ultimate challenge for polishing workpieces. NC Electrochemical Mechanical Complex Polishing (NC-ECMCP) is an advanced manufacturing technology that combines NC technology, electrochemical machining and mechanical polishing. It succeeds the characteristics of accurate tool path of NC combined with superiority of both electrochemical machining and mechanical grinding, which can effectively resolve the problem of moulding surface of hard materials by small stick type of tool-electrodes with inlaid insulating abrasive under a high speeding rotation along NC path. Aimed at high rigidity and high strength materials that is difficult to machine, the technology is used to reduce surface roughness by a large margin. By machining prototype workpiece, the feasibility of this technology was validated. A solid foundation was conquered for the technology better applied in production by consummateing technics flow later. Based on NC-ECMCM machine tool, a number of technics experiments are maken, and NC-ECMCP was researched in depth. The emphases of major works are as follows:1. Afer analysing the mechanism of NC-ECMCP, the mathematical model of NC-ECMCP of three-dimensional curved surface was set up.2. Based on rebuilting the experiment device of NC-ECMCM machine tool, fluctuate type of ball-end combined tool-electrode that was used for polishing curved surface were designed.3. Aimed at304stainless steel, a series of basic experiments had been maken to aquire electrolyte prescription that was suit for polishing the material.4. Various parameters to the effection of roughness of polishing surface were paid attention to during the course of NC-ECMCP, especially to inclined plane polishing used by ball-end tool-electrode. The basic rules of each parameter for the material in polishing process, thereout, was obtained, and was optimazed by means of orthogonal experiments.5. UG software is utilized to make a curved surface molding, and machining programs were created by postprocess. Finally, better roughness was acquired after polishing in the NC-ECMM machine-tool of5-axis linkage.
