Poly dimethyl benzene (Parylene) film is a kind of electrical insulation and corrosionresistance to a variety of excellent protective polymer materials. In this paper, on the basis ofindependent research and poly dimethyl benzene thin film vapor deposition, compare withother coating process, prepared Parylene organic films have the uniformity, integrity and goodprotective performance. This technology solves the technical bottleneck of Parylene class oforganic thin film applications in domestic.The results of process parameters on the coating dielectric properties affects showed as:When the evaporation temperature between75℃~115℃, the pyrolysis temperature between675℃~680℃, dielectric strength reached at216.5kV·mm-1, provided that the Parylene C filmhas good insulating properties.Through coating the different materials specimens, andmeasuring the electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS), open circuit potential and Tafelcurve can prove that the Parylene coating has excellent corrosion resistance. Using the contactangle measurement to measure the contact angle of Parylene coating, got that the contactangle of Parylene coating with H2O is about114.04°, confirmed that ParyleneC film hasexcellent waterproof performance.In this paper, the uniformity of large volume of space of coating has studied, the resultsshowed as: When the large volume of space coating process, the shunt application ensure theuniformity of coating. For LED components after coating2h, it will continue to worknormally for2400h in water, circuit board after coating for5μm breakdown voltage ofParylene coating can get to1100V. This fully prove Parylene C coating with excellentprotection performance.In this paper, the Parylene coating has good dielectric properties and the uniform depthof coating, proposed that the Parylene film as dielectric materials with, porous foam copper asthe electrode material, developed a new concept of the foam capacitor, which can be regardedas two no reactivity of porous electrodes suspended in the electrolyte, when charging thecapacitor, the large amount of charge stored in the surface of the electrode/solution, twocapacitive storage layer were formed by the Parylene film, because the foam material haslarge surface area, in this study, the thickness of Parylene C is450nm, capacitance density is0.02μF·cm-3, this type of capacitor is different from the traditional capacitors and the principleof the structure of this capacitor is a innovation in the Parylene application field.
