The Kaolin of China was famous in the world for a good assortment. abundant reserves and a high quality. The kaolin is extensively applied in many aspects, such as petroleum chemical engineering, paper making, function filler and fire-proof materials, etc. It can be used as a supporter to carry catalyst, also used as a raw materials for synthesizing zeolite, so is a latent and ideal supporter of in-situ crystallized zeolite molecular sieves. The zeolites in-situ synthesized have an ideal hydrothermal stabilty. In-situ synthesizing of zeolite can surmount the difficulty of filtration in the industry production and reduce the production cost.Properties of kaolin micropheres during calcinations were investigated firstly, so as to realize matrix property of catalyst prepared by in-situ crystallization technique. This dissertion investigates the in-situ NaY synthesis with kaolin microspheres, and obtain a certain result:crystallization conditions were optimized to obtain in-situ crystallized NaY with relative crystallinty above40%and SiO2/Al2O3ratio of5.9. The final kaolin micropheres has high content of NaY with high SiO2/Al2O3ratio.At last, some certain views about the in-situ NaY synthesis mechanism from kaolin microsphere are put forward, to lay theoretical basis for further investigation.
