C4hydrocarbons, as a kind of important oil resources, plays a more and moreimportant role in the field of chemical industry. The comprehensive utilization way isbecoming more widely. Wherein the most important application of C4hydrocarbon isthe synthesis of methyl tertiary butyl ether by isobutylene and methanol, which is alsothe most efficient separate method of n-butene and isobutylene. Among the etherifiedC4, unreacted methanol and dimethyl ether which generated by side reaction willincrease the operating cost of the C4separation. Meanwhile, the methanol anddimethyl ether will cause the catalyst poisoning in the processes of alkaneisomerization and olefins dehydrogenation, and the operating cost will also beincreased. The removal of micromolecule oxygenates such as methanol and dimethylether has a important role in the usage of C4hydrocarbons.This thesis mainly includes four parts: In the first part of the thesis, the currentremoval process of micromolecule oxygenates in C4hydrocarbons were summarized,the adsorption mechanism was formulized, and the advances of methanol anddimethyl ether adsorbents were introduced. In the second part of the thesis, theexperiment process and analysis methods were summarized. The absolute qualitycalibration factors of methanol and dimethyl ether were measured.In the third part of the thesis, the breakthrough curves (BTCs) and regenerationconditions of methanol and dimethyl ether on silica gel,5A zeolite and13X zeolitewere respectively researched. Complex adsorbents, composed of silica gel loading inadsorption tower entrance used to adsorption methanol and13X zeolite loading inadsorption tower exit used to adsorption DME, can meet the technologicalrequirements on the conditions that the feedstock temperature is20℃, the operatingpressure is0.3MPa and the flow rate is1.5m/h. The complex adsorbents regeneratedon the conditions that temperature is250℃and the operating pressure is-0.08MPa.The adsorption isotherm of13X zeolite adsorbing DME fits Langmuir type. Thecontrol step of this adsorption process is particles diffusion.In the fourth part of the thesis, industrial process was designed on the base of experimental results and synthesis data. The Piping and Instruments Diagrams of therelevant process were designed.
