Research On Copper Smelting And Casting In Early Ganqing Area

The ruins and relics in ancient times is the evidence of the human civilization’s development, and it is also the important medium which we understand human civilization’s development in ancient. This article classify the metallurgical activities of prehistoric times in Ganqing area to the early metallurgical activities in China, the metallurgical legacy which ruins left during this period, include early copper, smelting slag and pottery model, stone model and so on, these are the object of study of the paper. Study these early metallurgical legacy, not only we could know the metallurgical develop level of this area in prehistory period, but also it is very important significance in study the origin of metallurgy technology of china and the communication of technology, cultural in eastern and western.In short, The Ganqing area occupy an important position in history of metallurgical and civilization development in china because it have special geographic location and a lot of early legacy. The paper as far as possible collect and arrangement metallurgical legacy of prehistory period in Ganqing area, and put it on the whole background of history and civilization development in China, mainly use quantitative statistical method and comparative analysis method to study these metallurgical relics, which include the source of material, production technology, alloy composition and so on. On this basic, this article continue study the law of development of manufacture technology and the evolution orbit of the copper material in this area, the alloy composition of their copper whether form stationary pattern, the relationship of the different type utensil and alloy composition, manufacture technology. At last, by the comparison of this area and the archaeological cultural of other area in same period, this article emphasis study the reason which the copper of Ganqing area could form own characteristic.The paper altogether include four chapters, the first chapter mainly introduction the excavation situation and alloy composition testing of early copper in Ganqing area, the sencod chapter mainly analysis the feature of copper smelting technology. the third chapter mainly analysis the evolution characteristic and development orbit of copper alloy composition and manufacture technology in various period of this area, the fourth chapter mainly attempt study the reason which the copper could form own characteristic in this area, by the comparison of this area and the archaeological cultural of other area in same period.
