Most of the China’s crude oils are the high wax content and high pourpoint and high viscosity. To ensure safe and economic transportation of thepipeline has always been the focus of China’s oil scientists. For theshortcomings of the current waxy crude oil pipeline transportation system, thelong-distance crude oil pipeline system of the Baling Petrochemical Supplyand Marketing Department has been studied. The waxy crude oil pipelineintelligent transportation system is established by laboratory simulation,theoretical analysis and field experiments. The intelligent transportationsystem provides a basis for the safe and economic operation of the fieldpipeline and improves the economy and security of the pipeline operation tosome degree. The main contribution of the thesis can be summarized asfollows.(1)The wax deposition mechanism, influencing factors and the law ofwax deposition is summarized through field data collection system. Thedynamic differential pressure method is used to establish the long distancepipeline wax deposition model and predict the actual pipeline along the wax distribution which provides a reference for the actual pipe thickness of thewax deposition and optimized operation.(2) According to the actual situation of the pier, the economic operationmodel of the pipeline is established. A new estimation method of mixed crudeoil pour point is proposed and on this basis to establish the new rules for thebest mixed crude oil transportation temperature of waxy crude oil pipelines.The automatic optimization and optimal scheduling is obtained as an indicatorof the unit oil power consumption and the actual energy-saving effect of thepipeline operation is evaluated.(3) The intelligent transportation of waxy crude oil long-distance pipelinesystem is developed using C#. The intelligent transportation systemestablishes a visual, three-dimensional, real-time oil safe and economicoperation management platform which is convenient to the operation of theon-site staff and provides a basis for the safe and economic operation of thesite pipeline.
