| Industrial processes produce large amounts of zinc waste, the residue was discarded, and only pollute the environment caused by the zinc waste of resources. Research and development from the zinc waste recycling zinc preparation of ultrafine zinc oxide body, both to reduce environmental pollution, valid resource zinc, but also low-cost preparation of nano-zinc oxide powder, the study has broad application prospects and good economic benefits.This article describes a new process for recycling of waste zinc catalyst in a zinc preparation of zinc oxide body. The optimum conditions are:waste zinc particle size from180to250mesh, ammonium chloride concentration of17(wt%), reaction temperature of60℃, reaction time2h, the ratio of raw materials n (Zn2+):n of (NH4+)=1:2.2Under these conditions zinc leaching rate of95.2%, nickel survival rate of only0.7%.Zinc chloride solution diluted by zinc chloride-ammonium bicarbonate reaction system to generate the precursor basic zinc carbonate precipitation, filtration and separation, washing, drying, precursor, XRD diagram confirmed that the precursor is Zn4CO3(OH)6·H2O. The single factor experiments to study the reaction temperature, the zinc chloride concentration, feeding method, feeding rate, method of washing, drying conditions on the particle size of zinc oxide, the optimum process conditions.Preparation of zinc oxide the ignition temperature is450℃, the ignition time of2h. Zinc oxide body under appropriate conditions the particle size of63nm zinc oxide99.3%purity.
