| Rare earth products due to its unique physical and chemical properties have been widely applied in the industrial sector and high-tech fields. With the advances in modern technology and the continuous development of new materials, the purity of the various types of rare earth products have become increasingly demanding, therefore, must establish a sensitive, accurate and rapid analysis method is suitable for product quality evaluation and control.At present, the Inductively Coupled Plasma Atomic Emission Spectrometry (ICP-OES) and inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry (ICP-MS) is still the main detection method that deect rare earth and no-rare earth impurities in high-purity material, high purity rare earth products. Among them, the ICP-OES due to the relatively low sensitivity and a variety of REE spectral lines interfere with serious and difficult to meet the analytical requirements of purity higher than99.99%purity rare earth products. In contrast, ICP-MS provides a very low detection limit, a very wide dynamic range, less interference and analysis of high precision, rapid analysis, however, spectral interferences, matrix effects, ICP-MS analysis exist the main problem, developed in the late1990s, the collision/reaction cell technology is an interference on the Elimination of mass spectrometry technology, can improve or even eliminate the mass interference. In this thesis, through the conditions of experiment, the conventional mode and DRC mode comparison experiment, precision and recovery test to study the technology to reduce or eliminate the effect of Spectral Interferences.In the detection of rare earth, rare earth elements between the hydride (?)on, oxide ion and hydroxide ion interference is the most complex spectral interferences, this experiment choose Nd2O3, Sm2O3, Gd2O3, Tb4O7as a matrix and research their interference to Tb, Dy, and Yb Lu etal elementsIn the detection of non-rare earth, due to the existence of a large number of carrier gas Ar2,made in the medium of HCl56Fe,75As,40Ca,53Cr,80Se etal elements by40Ar16O+,40Ar35Cl+,40Ar+,37Cl16O+,40Ar2+serious interference, the conventional ICP-MS method for accurate detection has the certain difficulty, this experiment with the elements of Fe, Ca, As, Se, Cr, V as the object of study on Collision/reaction cell technology to reduce Ar2and HCl bring interference effect. |
