With the advancement of the continuous development and industrial progress of human being, the pollution of the heavy metal exposed to human being has been worse. The prediction and evaluation for the density of heavy metal is the critical base of preventing and controlling the pollution of heavy metal and it is significant. By the research on distribution of the density of heavy metal for Xiangjiang River(from Zhuzhou to Changsha), this article established a set of prediction model for the density of heavy metal for the changes of the density of heavy metal as the space changes and developed a system by combining with evaluation methods and using the program VC++. The detailed contents as below:1. Combining the data of the density of these heavy metals Pb, Cd, Zn, Cu, Cr and As, measured from Xiangjiang River(from Zhuzhou to Changsha), this article analyzed the water quality prediction methods for a variety of common waters and finally used the regression analysis in Mathematical Statistics as the modeling method of this research.2. By Matlab software, this article established the prediction model by using regression analysis for analyzing the changes of Pb, Cd, Zn, Cu, Cr and As during periods of high level water, low level water and the bottom water.3. Analyzing and comparing the various methods of evaluating the hazards of heavy metal, this article finally chose Hakanson Potential Ecological Hazards Index Method for evaluating the water quality system.4. Adopting object oriented programming technology, we developed and completed the Heavy Metal Density Pollution Prediction and Evaluation System of Xiangjiang in the VC++designing desktop and, by utilizing this system, we can predict the density of Pb, Cd, Zn, Cu, Cr and As and its hazards level at any site of Xiangjiang River(from Zhuzhou to Changsha).5. This article utilized this system to predict the heavy metal concentrations for the worse pullulated Zhuhu harbor and Qingshui pool at the middle and lower reaches of Xiangjiang and the prediction results are consistent with the local actual testing situations.6. This article provided the complete measures for system improvement and program adjustment and so on and have a good expectation for the subsequent tasks.
