To explore the impact of indoor main volatile pollutants to the growth and development and reproductive performance of female mice and provide a theoretical basis for exploring the living space built beneficial to human health. The main content of the study are as follows:1. Experimental mice (female and pregnant) randomly divided into four groups, respectively with the high dose group(60mg/m3、50mg/m3、40mg/m3), middle dose group(6mg/m3、5mg/m3、4mg/m3), low dose group (0.6mg/m3、0.5mg/m3、0.4mg/m3)and control group, exposure group have the mixed inhalation static type exposure of formaldehyde, xylene, ammonia. Behavior observed in mice exposed during the performance, test the weight change of mice, after a static exposure cycle, calculate the organs coefficient of mice and collect the ovarian and uterine tissue of mice, observe the ultrastructure of oocytes, follicular cells and endometrial epithelial cells, evaluate the reproductive performance the female mice and pregnant mice under the experimental conditions comprehensivly from the above indicators comprehensive. The experiment of the female mice results show that the effect to body weight and organ coefficient of formaldehyde, xylene, ammonia exists dose-time-response relationship, High doses of formaldehyde, xylene, ammonia has significant difference on body weight, liver and ovarian organ coefficient of female mice compared with control group, mixture of formaldehyde, xylene, ammonia can cause the follicle cells apoptosis or necrosis, thus affecting reproductive system of mice. The experiment of the pregnant mice results show that formaldehyde, xylene, ammonia toxic effects of pregnant mice is higher than famale mice, it mainly affects liver and ovaries of pregnant mice, High of dose group of pregnant mice of high dose group has the endometrial epithelial cells proliferation, cell gap increases and the emergence of inflammatory cell invasion, and certain toxic effects of reproductive cells which affecting germ cell function.2. Using six environment make breeding boxes, including without Alkyd varnish pine wood, paint Alkyd varnish of pine wood, ordinary particleboard wooden cases, chipboard, besmearing the formaldehyde and plastic box. Observe the behavior, the mice simultaneously measuring, water quantity and weight,28days, Anatomy and sampling, determine the viscera weight. The experiment show that unpainted red pine wooden box has a positive effect to the growth and development of female rats,The effect of lung and liver of female rats of formaldehyde is the most significant, the environment of higher concentration of formaldehyde of female rats can not have normal growth and development.3. Using the present investigation method and the own designed questionnaire of female reproductive health in furniture and decoration materials sales industry, conducted a questionnaire survey of200furniture and decoration materials sales industry women to understand whether the volatile organic in the environment of production and sales of furniture and decoration materials have adverse impact or damage on women workers’ reproductive system function. Investigators have some cognition about the influence of their working environment to their physical and reproductive health; there are some skin and respiratory tract irritation for investigators in this working environment, which also may affect female endocrine system and menstruation, but there are not significantly correlated in the condition of this investigationn.
