Underground mining of mineral resources has left a large number of mined areas, and mined-out area collapse is the major harm source of affecting most important mine safety production. In generally, there are four main factors to affect the goafs stability. The factors including the parameters of goaf structure, the space distribution features of goaf, the stress environment and characteristic value, the geological environment and mechanical parameters of ore and rock mass. These factors affected each other, form the multiple source information database of group of empty area stability factors. Normally the information above which can be found only reflect part of the stability of mined-out area information, and sometimes does not get accurate information. This paper focus on the actual mining information, according to the mined-out area the diversity, applied the multi-source information fusion method, established a stability analysis of mined-out area model, quantitative analyzed the stability of each mined-out area. The main contents are as follows:(1)The collection of mine geological, hydrological data and other info rmation was done, and on sit three-dimensional laser measurement of min ed areas was done. On this basis, a three-dimensional model of the mined area was built and statistical analyzed the three-dimensional shape, spatia1location, the actual border, the size of the roof area and volume of infor mation, achieve a raw data of mined-out area.(2)The finite element analysis software FLAC3D was used to numeric al analysis the mined-out area, qualitative evaluated the goaf stability by t he stress, displacement, plastic zone, roughly achieve the risk and stabilit-y of mined-out area.(3)Weight analyzed the mined-out area of the stress, displacement and other mechanical information, spatial patterns mined-out area informatio n, and mined-out area where the geology, hydrology, rock mechanics info rmation by the use of AHP, got the effect size of various factors on the mi-ned area, completed the integration of pre-work information;(4)Combined these factors, decision-making analyzed the stability of t he mined-out area by D-S evidence theory, the conclusion that gob likelih ood of the collapse size, identify the more dangerous of the mined-out are a. A number of mined-out area field measurements were done to get accur ate information of mined area. Combined with existing data, the most dan gerous gob was found by multi-source information fusion theory. The res earch can effectively prevent the gob-induced disasters, provide technical guidance for the safe production, play a key role of the prevention and co ntrol of mining serious accidents, have an important theoretical and practi cal significance.
