As the accelerating development of modernization, people’s living standards are improved constantly. Overall quality of people’s social demands has also been improved. Appearance, comfort,environmental protection and health are the goals to which we continue to pursue. But with the rapid economic development, driven by the interests and the acceleration of industrialization, environmental issues become increasingly prominent, dust pollution is more serious. Dust is not only harm for people’s health but also easy to adhere to the surface. Look around, the objects we can see are not bare, they are mostly coated with a protective quality, which is paint that we are familiar with. In order to maintain clean, surfaces must be cleaned, which would be wasting a lot of manpower, material and financial resources, and by the friction, surface will be scratched and dull.By retrieving the extensive literature in the field of the techonlogy of paint surface cleaning, found that there are not many studies in this area, most studies are on the surface cleaning of glass, PVC pipe, and so on. To prepare superhydrophobic coatings and other surface modification technologies are increasingly popular. But some of these methords do not apply to paint coatings. In this paper, based on the Surface Physical Chemistry and coatings theories, the optical microscope system is applied to analysis and research the dust on the paint surface, main contents and conclusions of the paper are as follows:1. According to surface energy principle, the molecular structure of the object determines the physical and chemical properties of the object, and described the dust sticky mechanism. According to the principle of conservation of energy, that any object has a way to maintain their energy balance. And discused of various forces between dust and surface.2. To keep the surface clean, to reduce the surface energy of the object is nessury, such as to modify the surface, change the roughness or chemical composition of the object surface. The surface coated with nano-materials is work for surface clean, and the surface coated with nano-SiO2material is better than nano-TiO2, but it has a certain time to show the stain resistance.3. With the different air pressure on the different part of object surface, the different inclination of surface and the different surface cleanliness, there are different amount of dust adhered to the surface. Low pressure areas are adhered small dust particles, high pressure zones are adhered more dust and dust particles are larger. The greater the inclination of the surface, the more cleanliness of the surface, whereas the lower. Using the method of Single-factor analysis of variance to analysis and validation.4. With various kinds surfactant to do some experiment. Different concentration of the same kind of surfactants has different effects on dust adhesion. Comparised the three surfactants, such as hydrophilic, hydrophobic and fluorine surfactants, the hydrophobic surfactant’s adhesion of dust is relatively small. However, surface coated with hydrophilic surfactant has a greatest rate change of surface cleanliness after rinsed. Because of the unique nature of the dust, dust in the surface will be coagulated. Dust particles will continue to increase over time, what’s more, with the certain external force the large particles will break down into smaller particles.When added inorganic into the same kind of surfactant, we found that the low concentration of surfactant has greater cleaning effect. It has a little change in dust particles adsorbed on the surface, when adding NaCl or NH4Cl to SDBS.5. To analyse the effect of dust adhesion factors, it is concluded that when the humidity is high, the dust is not easy to float, and the dust particle is small, when the climate is dry, dust can easily adsorbed on the surface. But the effect of the observation time is more obvious than the humidity.
