The design and synthesis of organic-inorganic hybrid supramolecular compounds basedon polyoxometalates has attracted great attention not only stems from their intriguing varietyof architectures and incomparable electronic versatility, but also from their potential applicati-ons in the fields as diverse as catalysis, medicine, molecular magnetism and material science. The time of structure scissor and self-assembly in synthesis of polyoxometalates iscoming, and now a quantity of polyoxometalates with novel structure were synthesized withthe organic templated directing.Polyoxometalates have received a lot of interest in researchbecause of their potential applications in the areas such ascatalysis, medicine and functionalmaterials.Synthesis of heteropoly acid and glycine supermolecule compounds α-K2(HGly)3[SiW11Fe(H2O)O39]·24H2O and α-K4(HGly)3[SiW11Ti(H2O)O39]·4H2O,and the use of infraredspectroscopy,UV spectroscopy, and other means of characterization.Thermal decompositionkinetics of supermolecular compounds α-K2(HGly)3[SiW11Fe(H2O)O39]·4H2O was studied byTG-DTG technique. The non-isothermal kinetic data were analyzed with Coats-Redfernmethod,and the Achar method. The mechanism function. kinetic parameters, apparentactivation energy E and pre-exponential factor lnA of the thermal decomposition wereobtained.
